Lake Harriet Parkway Remodel Project
This 80 year old home underwent an extensive remodeling project that included a two-story addition. We had done the home theater in the client's previous home and they asked us to design the electronic technology for this home. Our design included the following systems: whole house music with music server, full lighting control system and two media rooms. An elaborate security system with integrated home automation, climate control integration, flood protection system, and an electronic digital deadbolt for the garage resulted in a savings of over a thousand dollars per year on the homeowner's insurance premium.

Kenwood Retrofit Project
This client purchased a newer, existing home in the Kenwood area of Minneapolis. At the time of purchase the home was devoid of any electronics except for a few telephone and cable jacks. The client hired us to design and install a whole-house music system, a media room, computer network, and a telephone/intercom system. During the design process, we introduced the client to the concept of a media center. Once she tried one out in our showroom, she was hooked on it!

Minneapolis Movie and Television Buff
This Minneapolis client is a repeat customer. The husband is an avid movie buff. A couple of years ago, we installed an automation, security, and lighting system for them. We've also done some upgrades on their theater over the years. They recently completed some remodeling on their home and decided that their 18-year old home theater needed some serious attention. We agreed. We had already educated this client on the features of Media Center and they were excited about having it installed. They decided on one media center for the master bedroom system and one for the newly upgraded theater. We also installed a media center extender on the living room TV.

Enjoying Media Center in Orono
This client had purchased an existing home in Orono and performed an extensive remodel on it that included tearing out many of the old walls and ceilings. They called us, knowing that this was a golden opportunity to wire the house for current technology. We wired the home for a six zone music system, a computer network, satellite, a home theater, and three other media systems. Our installation included a custom-built media center with two terabytes of digital storage (the owner has an extensive music collection) and extenders to bring the music collection to other areas of the house. We also tied the media center into the whole-house music system. There is an iPod dock for the house music system so that when they entertain, friends can play music from their own iPods throughout the house. This client also enjoys using the media center to put on slide shows (to music of course) of his recent vacations.
