Telephone / Intercom

Telephone/Intercom:
Are you getting tired of shouting when it’s time for everyone to eat supper?  You may be in need of a whole-house intercom and paging system.  There are a few different types we recommend, depending on your particular needs.  Our two most popular systems are integrated with the telephones.
One system utilizes your conventional telephones and by dialing a simple code, you can intercom someone or you can page the whole house through the music system.  You can also communicate with whomever is at the front door.  The doorbell is integrated into your music speakers so that it is heard throughout the house.

The other popular system uses proprietary telephones and a central processing unit.  Both corded and cordless system phones are available with the capability of handling up to 8 incoming phone lines.  You can intercom between phones or do whole-house paging.  The corded phones have a built-in hands-free speakerphone which is especially convenient when you can’t run to the phone to see who is calling you on the intercom.  You can have a two-way conversation without ever touching the phone.

The system can be enhanced with custom voice mail and each member of the household can have their own greeting and voice mail box.  You can also route incoming calls.  You don’t want to be bothered answering the phone for your teenage daughter?  A voice prompt tells callers to press a different number depending on who they wish to speak to.  Your phones never ring if the call was intended for your daughter; only her phone rings.
Many other features are available such as restricting long distance calls on certain phones, restricting “900” numbers, distinctive ring (depending on which line it is), door intercoms, cellular cordless phones (with incredible range), conference calling, call transfer, remote gate opening, and many more.
